7 day training camp with Hadrian Stiff!

Ottawa, ON — The Squash Gloucester Junior Program, operating out of the Bob MacQuarrie
Recreation Complex in Orleans, is pleased to announce that Hadrian Stiff, of Bristol England,
will be leading a comprehensive 7-day training event for junior squash athletes from across the
province, from Saturday, March 10 through Friday, March 16, 2018.

Hadrian is the founder and director of EliteSquash, Bristol, England, and is the coach to some
of the most recognizable names on the Professional Squash Association World Tour. Some of
the professionals he coaches include Mohamed El Shorbagy, Marwan El Shorbagy, and Joelle
King all of whom recently reached the finals at the Windy City Squash Open (Chicago), the
most lucrative professional tournament in North America.

Hadrian will be joined by Ottawa’s own Christo Bilukidi, who has returned to his home in
Ottawa from a successful career in the NFL playing Defensive Tackle for the Oakland Raiders
and the Baltimore Ravens. Christo has a passion for junior athletics and works as the strength
and mobility coach for a number of top junior squash players in Ottawa who will be attending
the training camp.

Additionally, the players will be treated to a special visit from Samantha Cornett, Canada’s top
ranked squash player. Samantha is a native of Ottawa, and is deeply committed to the
development of squash as a life long activity. The juniors are very excited to have the
opportunity to be on court with Samantha, and we’re very appreciative of the time she is taking
from her training schedule as she prepares to represent Canada at the upcoming
Commonwealth Games in Australia this April.

The Squash Gloucester Junior program is entirely run by volunteers. With a history dating
back 30 years, the group has prepared junior players for high caliber play at local, provincial
and national standards. This training camp is a continuation of that tradition.

“We understand that a commitment to excellence, and a willingness to reach beyond one’s
grasp are the secrets to continuous improvement, and we are excited to see these ideals
instilled to junior athletes at this very unique local initiative.”, Ralph Shillington, Program
Coordinator.
